Our top priority is the health and safety of all SEAS students. Not only are the buildings locked during school hours, but the entire campus is secured by locking gates. We have a keyless entry system and security cameras that monitor the campus. We have 3M security “impact film” installed on all of the entrance doors in the main school office area. All parents and visitors must ring a buzzer to gain entry to the main building, sign in at the office, and wear a name tag for the duration of their visit. The playground is also monitored during all recess times. Our school employs a full-time, licensed RN. All teachers and staff are CPR certified and we have several AED devices on campus. All teachers have a first aid kit in their classrooms and have plans in place for fire, lockdown, and active shooter drills.
We also follow all Diocesan guidelines to ensure that staff and volunteers have undergone a background check and safety training to be in full compliance with the Diocese of Tucson Safe Environment Program.
